Peter Kellett, aged 77, was sentenced to three years and two months in prison at Dorchester Crown Court after he admitted three charges of indecent assault and one of indecency with a child. Three of the charges related to one victim, who was aged between seven and eight at the time of the first offence.
The court heard the first victim, who is now 50, came forward to police in September last year. The victim, who suffered from epilepsy, said the second occasion was when she was around nine years old and the third when she was aged around 11 or 12 and was recovering after just having an epileptic fit. Prosecutor Timothy Akers added: The court was told Kellett had no previous convictions and his barrister Mary Aspinall-Miles said there was no suggestion he presented any risk to the public.
He sentenced Kellett to a total of 20 months in prison for the three counts involving the first victim and a further 18 months for the offence involving the second victim. Pensioner jailed for child sex offences.
